FFI Conway Celebrates New Partnership with Fundraiser
Fairfield Inn & Suites, Conway celebrated their partnership with the non-profit Children’s Advocacy Alliance (CASA, CAA) with a silent art auction in their lobby on Thursday, August 9. “We thought this would be a good way to give back to our community and donate to a very needed cause,” said Mary Sternberg, Director of Sales.
The art auction, which raised over $500 to benefit CASA, featured works all created by children living in or around Faulkner County. More than 10 children created the artwork, individually and collaboratively. All pieces were created with a sponsorship from Randy Rollheiser from Black Earth Art Studio, giving them a therapeutic outlet and a feeling of empowerment through artistic expression.
The Children’s Advocacy Center provides crisis intervention, support services, and case management for children and their families. The money raised during the art auction will provide young clients’
forensic interviews, therapy, medical exams, and family advocacy.
“Everyone at Fairfield Inn & Suites is doing wonderful things for our community,” says Leia Smith, CASA’s Development Coordinator. “This partnership is an example of empowering our kids and raising awareness for our mission all at once.”
