Scottie’s On the River opened to much fanfare on June 1. The new restaurant, which is on-site at SpringHill Suites Cameron Harbor, will be upscale dining with a casual flair. The 6,000-square-foot space holds roughly 250 people and has sweeping views of the Tennessee River. The restaurant has a casual, industrial-chic décor and will serve American fare and seafood. “We want to be comfortable for everybody,” says Scottie Bowman, owner of the new dining establishment. Just in time for Riverbend, Scottie’s has three boat slips right outside. Boaters can park to dine or simply order food from the river.
