SpringHill Suites Downtown/Cameron Harbor will host “Floats for Kids” on August 6 from 6 – 9 p.m. The event, a Root Beer Float social, will benefit Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. There is no charge for the root beer floats, but SpringHill Suites asks that you donate to Children’s Hospital, the Chattanooga Region’s only hospital dedicated specifically to the care of pediatric patients. The event coincides with National Root Beer Float Day, and the hotel will be participating on social media with several hashtags. These include #floatsforkids and #rootbeerfloatday.
